Terms & Conditions - the basics

Last Updated: January 15, 2026

Welcome to the Paperflower Foundation (“the Foundation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website, making a donation, entering into a sponsorship or partnership, or engaging with our programs, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About the Paperflower Foundation

The Paperflower Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to mental health care, medications, evaluations, and community-based supports for individuals facing financial, systemic, or situational barriers.

All activities are conducted in furtherance of our charitable mission.

2. Donations & Payments

  • All donations are voluntary and non-refundable.

  • Donations may be used to support program services, operational expenses, outreach efforts, and other mission-aligned activities.

  • No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations, except where explicitly stated.

  • By submitting a donation, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

If you believe a donation was submitted in error or without authorization, please contact us promptly at info@paperflowerfoundation.org

3. Tax Deductibility

The Paperflower Foundation is a recognized nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

The Foundation does not provide legal or tax advice. Donors and sponsors are responsible for consulting their own advisors.

4. Use of Funds

The Foundation makes good-faith efforts to honor donor intent. However, unless a contribution is explicitly restricted and accepted as such, the Foundation reserves discretion to allocate funds where they are most needed to advance its mission.

5. Corporate Sponsorships & Partnerships

Nature of Sponsorships

Corporate sponsorships support the Foundation’s charitable mission and do not constitute payment for medical, psychiatric, or clinical services.

No Endorsement

Sponsorship does not imply endorsement of a sponsor’s products, services, or views unless expressly stated in writing.

Tax Treatment

Corporate sponsorships may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Any portion of a sponsorship that constitutes advertising or provides substantial return benefit will be disclosed accordingly.

6. Related-Party & Conflict of Interest Disclosure

The Paperflower Foundation maintains partnerships with independent service providers, including Paperflower Psychiatry, a separate legal entity.

  • The Foundation’s Executive Director is also affiliated with Paperflower Psychiatry.

  • Any transactions involving related entities are reviewed to ensure they are mission-aligned, reasonable, and conducted at fair market value.

  • The Foundation maintains a written Conflict of Interest Policy and follows appropriate recusal and oversight procedures.

At no time are Foundation funds used for personal benefit. All funds are applied solely to advance the Foundation’s charitable mission.

7. No Guarantee of Services or Outcomes

Engagement with the Foundation—including donations, sponsorships, or partnerships—does not guarantee:

  • Access to specific services

  • Placement with a particular provider

  • Clinical outcomes or timelines

Services are subject to eligibility criteria, availability, and partner capacity.

8. No Medical, Clinical, or Legal Advice

The Paperflower Foundation does not provide medical, psychiatric, therapeutic, or legal advice.

Information shared through the Foundation’s website, communications, or materials is for educational and charitable purposes only and should not replace professional care.
